Cancellations & Refunds

This page explains how cancellations work for paid services on Skarbex. Payments for paid services are final: once a boost or subscription is bought, the service starts immediately and operates for the specified period. We do not provide voluntary refunds or credits after purchase.
What this covers
This policy applies to paid services that the operator sells to you directly:
- Listing boosts — paid promotion that lifts your listing in search and category pages.
- Subscription plans — recurring fee plans that unlock additional features.
It does not cover transactions between users. The operator is not a party to those transactions; payment for goods is arranged directly between the buyer and the seller.
Boosts
Boosts begin performing immediately when you confirm the purchase for the stated boost period. At that moment you tick a box requesting immediate performance and acknowledging that you waive your 14-day right of withdrawal. Once the boost has started, it stays active for the purchased period and is not refunded or credited.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are paid in advance for the chosen billing period (typically monthly or yearly). They start immediately when you confirm the purchase and stay active for the full paid period.
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid period — until then, the plan stays active and you continue to have access to the features it unlocks.
To the maximum extent permitted by mandatory law, subscriptions are non-refundable after purchase, including unused parts of an already-started billing period. The plan simply runs to the end of what you have already paid for.
Discounts and free trials
A promotion or 100% discount may still require a saved payment card if the subscription renews after the discounted period. Unless you cancel before renewal, the subscription renews at the price shown at checkout or in your billing settings. No voluntary refund is provided for a renewed period after it starts.
Disputes about goods
If you have a complaint about goods you bought from another user (defective item, item not received, item not as described), please raise it with the seller first. The contractual relationship is between you and the seller, not the operator.
