This Cookie Policy explains how Skarbex uses cookies and similar browser-storage technologies (localStorage) when you visit the site. It complements the Privacy Policy and follows the Czech and EU rules on cookies and personal data (GDPR).
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by the browser when you visit a website. localStorage works similarly: a key-value store the browser keeps for our domain. Both can hold information that lets us recognise you on a return visit. Where the law says "cookies" it covers both.
Categories we use
- Strictly necessary: Required for the site to function — sign-in, language preference, recording your cookie choice. We don't ask consent for these because the law allows them.
- Analytics: Optional analytics cookies and browser storage help us recognise the same browser for listing/storefront view deduplication, referral attribution, and Google Analytics page/event measurement after you accept. We also count anonymous listing and storefront views server-side from request metadata (hashed IP address and user-agent) so sellers get basic metrics without us setting optional storage before consent.
